5.2 Installation of the Valve

WARNING
There is a risk of being
burned by hot liquid
if you install the valve
in a system when it is
running. Shut down the
system section, allow
it to cool off, and drain
the liquid in a controlled
fashion.
1. In a new installation,
it may be necessary to
fl ush the pipelines of
the system before
installing the valve.
Avoid contaminating
the valve with metal
debris, sealants, etc.
2. Observe the fl ow arrow on
the housing (Fig. 9).
