This instruction sheet contains information on how to install Fairhaven full length recess mounted cabinets. When install-
ing cabinets, read "General Notes" and "Determining Cabinet Location" below. Read "Recess Mounting Cabinets" on page
2. If you have purchased an Electrical option, read "Wiring an Electrical Option" on page 2. Finally, read the "Adjustments,
Final Assembly, and Maintenance" section that starts on page 3.
General Notes
Unpack the cabinet. Check the box thoroughly
for all hardware and loose parts as follows:

Shelves
■
Chrome Basket
■
Hardware Bag
Make sure that you have all the contents listed
above and in the Parts List on page 4.
WARNING: An Electrical Option cabinet
contains receptacle(s).
GFCI

support equipment.
DO NOT
receptacles in the cabinet to power life
support equipment since a trip of the
would shut down the life support equipment.
IMPORTANT: Doors are factory set and
should not need adjustment. Do not remove
doors. If doors need to be adjusted refer to
Figure E on page 3 for adjustment.
For the doors to operate properly, the cabinets
must be installed in a square and plumb
manner. Use a Square and Level when
installing cabinets.
Save these instructions for future use and
reference.
An improper installation voids the warranty.
Installed cabinets cannot be returned.
If you experience any problems with your
cabinet, contact your dealer or Robern directly.

Determining Cabinet Location
Determine the rough opening location for your cabinet.
Before cutting any holes in the wall, determine the
cabinet location, keeping in mind the following:

Height from the fl oor and ceiling
■
Overall size of cabinet
■
Clearance in the wall for recess portion of the cabinet
: Four inches (101.6 mm) of this cabinet are recessed into the

wall. Proper support in the opening is necessary — we recommend
surrounding the opening with 2 x 4s.
The overall Rough opening should be 18 1/2" x 68 11/16"
(469.9 mm x 1728.78 mm) as shown in Figure A.
: The 2" dimension of the 2 x 4 may need to be reduced if the
