Cleaning and disinfection

5.1

Safety instructions for processing

These processing instructions apply for the neutral electrode and
fixation.
May be cleaned in an ultrasonic bath.
Never use sharp objects for cleaning.
Maximum air pressure during drying: 2 bar.
Maximum water pressure during rinsing: 2 bar.
During machine cleaning and disinfection, do not exceed 95 °C.
Observe the specifications from the manufacturer of the deter-
gent and disinfectant and in the chapter "Overview of validated
procedures".
Do not sterilize!
5.2

Processing limitation

The materials in the product have been shown to survive 75 pro-
cessing cycles alone (without surgical stress) as described in this
section. Erbe Elektromedizin recommends that the product
should not be used beyond this, even if there is no discernible
damage. The number of reuses may also be reduced depending
on the stresses to which the product is subjected during use.
