the countdown the buzzer stops and the display again shows
the temperature in the well.
Setting the timer
• 1. Ensure that the timer is not active (message "min" off)
• 2. Press and immediately release button 6. The correct set-
ting appears blinking on the display. The message "min" blin-
ks too.
• 3. Turn the knob 2 to the desired value.
• 4. Confirm the value by pressing knob 2 again (or do not act
for 15 sec.). The display again shows the temperature in the
well.
Starting the countdown
• Press button 6 (for 1 sec.). The message"min" blinks and the
display continues showing the temperature in the well.
Stopping the countdown
• Press button 6 (for 1 sec.). The message "min" goes off. The
timer stops and the initial value is reset.
Changing the countdown
• It is possible to change a countdown in progress (message
"min" blinking) by performing steps 2-3-4. The countdown
starts again from the new set value but this value is not me-
morized: the next countdown will start with the previous va-
lue.
Silencing the buzzer.
To silence the buzzer press any button or knob 2. The buzzer
will sound for:
• Sensor error (*)
• Board temperature alarm (*)
• Temperature alarm
• The first time the set point is reached
• At the end of the timer countdown
The cases indicated with (*) require the intervention of qualified
assistance.
Choosing the value shown on the display
Usually the display shows the temperature value in the well.
By pressing button 5 (for 1 sec.), the display will show in se-
quence:
• The current set point if led L3 is lit
• The timer if the message "min" is lit
NB: If button 5 is pressed and immediately released the display
shows the message (Pbb): this message is reserved for the
manufacturer. To quit, press and immediately release button 5.
Alarms
The thermostat manages the following alarms:
• Adjustment sensor error alarm
Occurs for a malfunction or incorrect connection of the sensor.
It is indicated on the display by the message "Pr1" alternating
with the normal view, by the lighting of the Alarm led and the
buzzer. Heating is excluded for safety reasons. This alarm re-
quires the intervention of qualified personnel.
• Board temperature sensor error alarm
Occurs for a malfunction of the sensor on the electronic board.
It is indicated on the display by the message "Pr1" alternating
with the normal view, by the lighting of the Alarm led and the
buzzer. Heating is excluded for safety reasons. This alarm re-
quires the intervention of qualified personnel.
• Board temperature alarm
Occurs for abnormal heating of the electronic board. It is indi-
cated on the display by the message "Ht" alternating with the
normal view, by the lighting of the Alarm led and the buzzer,
which may be silenced by pressing any button. Instead the
message "Ht" disappears only if the temperature returns within
the established parameters. Even though the appliance will
continue to operate, if this alarm occurs it is recommended to
have it checked promptly by qualified personnel.
• Oil temperature alarm
Occurs if the oil reaches a temperature that is too high in com-
parison with the established set point. It is indicated on the di-
splay by the message "AL" alternating with the normal view,
by the lighting of the Alarm led and the buzzer, which may be
silenced by pressing any button. Instead the message "AL" di-
sappears only if the temperature returns within the established
parameters. Even though the appliance will continue to opera-
te, if this alarm occurs it is recommended to have it checked
promptly by qualified personnel.
Meaning of leds L1, L2, L3
The leds light up depending on the operating phases, as indi-
cated below:

14 PROLONGED DISUSE

Before any prolonged disuse of the appliance, proceed as fol-
lows:
• Clean the appliance thoroughly.
• Rub stainless steel surfaces with a cloth soaked in Vaseline
oil to create a protective film.
• Leave lids open.
• Close the valves and turn off the electrical power supply at
the main switch.
Following prolonged disuse, proceed as follows:
• Inspect the appliance thoroughly before using it again.
• Allow electric appliances to operate at the lowest temperatu-
re for at least 60 minutes.

jury resulting from failure to observe the following rules.
