9. Blade Attachment.

Align the 3 holes in the blade with the
3 blade screws pre-installed on the
blade arm. Press down on the blade
firmly enough so that the blade screws
come through the holes in the blade.
[CAUTION: Be careful not to use so much
force that the blade arm bends.]
Hold the y-connect blade assembly
piece so narrower end faces toward the
part of the blade with the holes (as
shown in drawing at right) and then place
the y-connect blade assembly piece on
the top side of the blade. [Please note
the side of the y-connect blade
assembly piece indicating THIS SIDE
UP.] Slide y-connect blade assembly
piece onto the blade screw at the end of
the blade. Rotate y-connect blade
assembly piece counterclockwise to lock
into place.
Repeat Section 9 for each blade.
10. Light Kit Assembly (Optional).
NOTE: If you do not wish to use the light
kit, you may proceed to Section 11 on
page 9 to complete installation.
If you wish to use your fan WITH the
light kit, remove 3 screws from switch
housing and remove switch housing
cap from switch housing.
Locate BLUE (or BLACK) and WHITE
wires in switch housing labeled FOR
LIGHT. Remove and discard plastic
that holds these 2 wires together.
Remove wire connectors from these
same wires as well--save wire
connectors for later use.
Punch center cap out of switch
housing cap with a screwdriver.
