Setting the compression rate (corded phone)

Three different compression rates (HIGH, MID and LOW) are
provided for you to select different quality levels of recor-
ding incoming message. The lower the compression rate, the
higher the recording quality level attained, but the shorter
the total recording time available.
1. In idle state press the menu key
2. Select ANS. MACHINE and press
3. Select TAM SETTINGS and press
4. Select COMPRESSION and press
5. Select an entry from the list and press

Answering machine reset (corded phone)

You can reset the answering machine to delivery state. This
deletes all personal announcements and settings. Existing
messages remain untouched.
1. In idle state press the menu key
2. Select ANS. MACHINE and press
3. Select TAM SETTINGS and press
4. Select TAM DEFAULT and press
5. Enter the current system PIN (in delivery state "0000") and
press

Remote access

Remote access is only possible if this function is activated.
To get access to your answering machine remotely from any
touch-tone telephone you have to enter the four-digit remote
access code.
