Install the Faucet and Lift Rod Holder (cont.)
Insert the spout into the faucet body and press down firmly to
engage the seal.
Position the spout.
Using the provided setscrew and wrench, secure the spout to the
faucet body.
Install the Faucet
Clean the lavatory surface to remove any grease, oil, or debris.
Apply plumbers putty or other sealant to the underside of each
escutcheon according to the putty manufacturer's instructions.
Slide an escutcheon over each of the threaded studs.
Insert the threaded studs through the mounting holes.
Slide a washer onto each of the threaded studs.
Thread a nut onto each threaded stud to secure the faucet to the
mounting surface. Securely wrench tighten the nuts.
With a damp cloth, wipe any excess putty or sealant from around
the escutcheons.
