1. Install the Faucet and Lift Rod Holder
Install the Lift Rod Holder
IMPORTANT! The lift rod holder and lift rod must be installed
before the faucet. Once the faucet is installed, it would be difficult to
install the lift rod components without damaging the lift rod.
Apply plumbers putty or other sealant to the underside of the lift
rod holder flange.
Insert the lift rod holder through the mounting hole.
Secure the lift rod holder with the mounting nut.
With a damp cloth, wipe any excess putty or sealant.
Insert the lift rod into the lift rod holder.
Assemble the Faucet
NOTE: If your faucet is already assembled, continue to "Install the
Faucet."
Remove the plug from the faucet body and the cap from the
spout. Discard the plug and cap.
