When cutting the straps to the appropriate length, take care to make a stopping stitch on each edge
of the seam. (fig.2).
The rigid corners of the strap on each side of the velcro band can cause discomfort for the patient. It
may be necessary to cut them. Make sure the seams have not been damaged by cutting (fig.3).
To improve the support provided by the orthosis, add a pad on the thigh and/or tibial strap (cut the
pad in the supplied silicone foam strip). (fig.4).
