Required maintenance work
Check high-pressure hose, spray lance, nozzle and
handgun for leaks and damage.
Check that temperature controller is functional.
Check that scale inhibitor is functional and check setting.
Check general condition of drive motor.
Check that pressure switch is functional and check
switch-on and switch-off pressures.
Clean motor cooling fins.
Replace spark plugs.
Replace air filter and fuel filter.
Check motor fan wheel for dirt and check
that it is functional.
Check that thermostatic switch on high-pressure pump is
functional.
Check fuel tank and filters for dirt and clean.
Check fuel hoses.
Check detergent tank for dirt and clean.
Check and adjust float valve.
Check that detergent metering valve is functional.
Check that electronics module is functional. Interrogate and
note down stored data.
Check high-pressure pump for leaking water and oil and
check that it is functional.
Change gear oil in the high-pressure pump.
Check water system for leaks.
Check that pressure gauge is functional.
Cover fitted and latch functional?
Cover fitted over rotating parts?
Check that all electrics are functional and conduct test
in compliance with VDE 0701.
Test run and visual inspection.
Annually
Safety check by a technician in accordance with the national
guidelines for liquid jet devices.
