Warning - Batteries
• Only use batteries (or rechargeable
batteries) that match the speci ed type.
• Before you insert the batteries, clean
the battery contacts and the polarity
contacts.
• Do not allow children to change
batteries without supervision.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, or
batteries of different types or from
different manufacturers.
• Remove batteries from products that are
not going to be used for a prolonged
period of time
(unless they are being kept on standby
ready for an emergency).
• Do not short-circuit batteries.
• Do not charge batteries.
• Do not burn batteries.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of
children.
• Never open, damage or swallow
batteries or allow them to enter the
environment. They can contain toxic,
environmentally harmful heavy metals.
• Remove spent batteries from the product
and dispose of them without delay.
• Avoid storing, charging and using in
extreme temperatures and at extremely
low atmospheric pressures (such as at
high altitudes).
4. Getting started
Remove the battery already inserted and
remove the safety foil if necessary, along with
the contact interrupter, and insert the battery
paying attention to match the polarities
correctly.
5. Operation
Press the LIGHT button (5) to switch the
display on.
5.1 Setting the time
• Turn the setting wheel (2) on the back to
set the current time (hours/minutes).
• To set the seconds, remove the battery
to stop the seconds. Insert the battery
again to restart the second hand at the
correct second.
5.2 Setting the alarm
• Turn the setting wheel (3) on the back
of the alarm clock to set the desired
alarm time.
• Move the slider switch (4) to the ON
or OFF position to activate / deactivate
the alarm.
6. Care and maintenance
Only clean this product with a slightly damp,
lint-free cloth and do not use aggressive
cleaning agents. Ensure that no water is able
to enter the product.
