4. OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
The tool was designed to polish
metallic, varnished or painted surfaces.
While operating the machine some
precautions must be taken into account:
� Hold the tool with both hands and with
the side handle installed;
� Do not apply too much pressure
over the work piece/object. The
machine's weight is enough to apply
the necessary pressure. If the speed
decreases abruptly, lower the pressure
applied;
� Never turn the machine on when the
rotating accessory is in touch with
the work piece. Only lean the rotating
accessory on the work piece after the
maximum speed is reached;
� Have extra care when using the tool
on corners or sharp edges. Prevent the
accessory from bouncing or getting
stuck in the work piece;
� When operating, the power cable
must be behind the tool;

4.1 - TOOL'S START AND STOP

(FIG. E)
1. Before connecting the power cable
(10), make sure the "ON/OFF" switch
(11) is disconnected;
2. Hold the polisher with both hands,
one in the main handle (9) and the
other in the side handle (6);
3. Press the "ON/OFF" switch and
lean the polisher over the surface/
piece;
4. To turn the machine off, release the
"ON/OFF" switch;
To use the polisher in continuous
mode:
5. Press the "ON/OFF" switch and the
"ON/OFF" switch locking button (8)
simultaneously. Release both buttons
and operate the tool with the "ON/
OFF" switch locked;
6. To turn the polisher off, press the
"ON/OFF" switch and release it;
4.2 - SPINDLE LOCKING
BUTTON (FIG. F)
Never press the spindle locking
button while operating the
polisher or it will damage the tool;
1. Press the spindle locking button (5)
to lock the shaft when installing or
removing accessories;
2. To release de rotating shaft, release
the spindle locking button;
4.3 - VARIABLE SPEED POWER
SETTINGS (FIG. G)
1. Before initiating any operation with
the tool, set the variable speed button
(7) to the minimum speed, in order
to test the polishing plate fixation and
ensure a start-up with no issues;
2. If everything is running as expected,
spin
the
variable
speed
according to the material, surface and
type of work to be performed;
3. The variable speed button allows do
set 6 levels of speed (1-6). The speed
increases when rotating the button
counter clockwise and decreases when
rotating it clockwise;
4.4 - POLISHING (FIG. H)
To polish varnish, paints or scratches
(ex. acrylic glass) it is possible to
use
several

polishing

attached to the velcro plate. It can be
used polishing sponges or felts (not
included).
Make sure the polishing pads, felts or
sponges are in perfect conditions and
free from dirt.
1. Apply the polishing product over the
surface;
2. Initiate the polishing on the flat
surfaces with bigger dimensions;
3. Uphold the sponge or pad over the
surface. Keep an angle of 15° between
the pad or the sponge and the work
surface;
4. Perform regular, crossed or circular
movements when polishing;
Never let the polishing product
dry over the surface. Otherwise,
it will damage the surface. Do not
expose the surface to direct sunlight.
5. MAINTENANCE
AND CLEANING
INSTRUCTIONS
This machine was conceived to operate
during a long period of time and with
little maintenance needs. To operate
continuously and with no issues, its user
must perform a proper maintenance
and a regular cleaning.

Before inspection, maintenance and
cleaning works, turn off the equipment
and unplug the power cord.
5.1 - CARBON BRUSHES
REPLACEMENT (FIG. I)
The engine won't run if the brushes
are worn. They must be replaced in
time, otherwise it will cause a defective
contact between the brushes and
the commutator, forming sparks and
damaging the machine. Both brushes
must be equal and must be replaced at
accessories
the same time.
1. Untighten the fixing screws and
remove the carbon brushes (12);
2. Install new carbon brushes;
3. Place and tighten the fixing screws;
