3 Method of operation and use
The rotary movement of a servo or stepping
motor is converted by a toothed belt, which is
fixed on both sides, into a linear movement.
The toothed belt moves the profile tubing
backwards and forwards.
The DGEA-... is intended for the exact posi-
tioning of masses.
It is permitted for use in the cantilever operating mode (preferably in a vertical
mounting position).
It is not permitted for the following applications:
– where the DGEA comes into contact with vegetable water-soluble fats or oils
– where paint-wetting substances are to be avoided.
Vegetable fats or oils reduce the loading capacity of the toothed belt.
4 Transport and storage
Take the weight of the DGEA-... into consider-
ation.
Depending on design the DGEA-... weighs up
to 30 kg.
Ensure storage conditions as follows:
– short storage times and
– cool, dry, shaded corrosion-protected
storage locations.
In this way you can ensure the efficiency of
the toothed belt.
