3.2 Wire Hook (470)
The Wire Hook Anchorage Connector is designed to provide a single user with an easily installed
anchorage connector. The stainless steel Wire Hook connects to various approved anchorages
including railings, small I-beams, angle iron and scaffolding.
Warnings and Limitations
• For use by ONE person only. Maximum capacity is 400 lbs. (181.4kg), including tools. —
DO NOT EXCEED THIS WEIGHT.
• Use only locking carabiners, locking snap hooks or other Miller approved connectors or
connecting devices to attach to this equipment.
• The structure that this product is attached to must be capable of supporting a 5,000 lb.
(22.2kN) static load or provide a 2:1 safety factor in the direction of pull.

Installation
1. Squeeze together the bottom part of the wire hook connector to open the top portion of the
device (see Fig. 2a).
2. Place over an approved anchorage. Note: When placing the device over an anchorage, it is
necessary to rotate the device 90 degrees so that the top portion closes completely allowing
the hook portions to pass completely through the loops (see Fig. 2b).
WARNING: Connect to the attachment ring only.
Removal: To remove the device, simply reverse the installation procedure.
