4. Equipment Description
This equipment consists of two equipments that can work independently.
4.1 Shaker
The stirrer consists of a fixed base on which rests a movable platform
that allows a lateral swinging movement. A fixed structure that supports
the sliding trays is installed on the platform.
4.2 Incubator
The chamber is made from methacrylate that allows to view inside
the chamber during incubation. Its fan circulation system ensures the
homogeneity ot temperature. The temperature regulation is made by an
electronic circuit board.
The incubator is used in thermal treatment of samples for drying, curing,
cultivation or preservation at a constant temperature.
Heating and cooling system by semiconductors and temperature regula-
tion is electronical with digital reading. The cooling system is affected
by ambient temperature. The minimum temperature increases with the
ambient temperature according to the following table:
The incubator allows programming temperature profiles to optimize the heat
treatment. It has an operation log system for later downloading data to a
computer. In addition, it is equipped with a paper thermograph that works
independently of the incubator. It has a USB front connection to download
the logs to memory.
4.3 Paper chart recorder
The incubator includes a mechanical thermal recorder that reads the
temperature inside the chamber. It works with an AA type battery so
that if you do not want the temperature to be recorded, it is necessary
to remove the battery.
