Adjusting the spacing between the packing wheels and the ploughshare

The packing wheels (C) are used to ridge and compact
the soil around the planted seedlings.
The distance between the packing wheels and the
ploughshare must be adjusted according to the type of
ground.
Proceed as outlined below.
1) Lift the lever (B).
2) Turn the lever (B) to move the packing wheels (C)
closer to or away from the ploughshare (D).
3) After adjustment, return the lever (B) to the original
position.
If the part is not locked properly, tighten the lever (see
"Adjusting the packing wheel lever tightness").
Carry out the same operations to adjust the packing
wheels of the other planting units installed.

Planting depth adjustment

For adjustments, proceed as outlined below.
1) Turn the knob (A) to increase or decrease the depth
of the furrow.
