Each waveform offers certain characteristics and advantages in the application of TIG
AC welding (for example, the triangle wave is commonly recommended for use in thin
aluminum thicknesses).

The parameters for the TIG AC and DC welding curve are:
Pre-gas
determines the time the machine allows the gas to pass to the torch before
starting the arc. The machine will not start the welding arc until the
configured time has been reached.
Post-gas
determines the time the machine lets gas through to the torch after
interrupting or ending the arc. Gas will continue to exit the torch for the
configured time after you stop welding (by releasing the trigger at 2T or by
pressing the trigger again at 4T).
Initial current : It is the current with which the welding arc will start. It will
gradually increase until it reaches the working current, within the period
configured in the rise ramp or rise time.
