1. Security
The entire instruction manual must be read. Ignoring these instructions may create a risk of elec-
tric shock, fire and / or severe injury. It is also recommended to read the accident prevention
regulations of the metalworking industry workers association (BGV D1, BGI 855, etc.).
Electric arc welding is a dangerous activity, both for those who apply it and for third parties. You
should always wear adequate protection when welding and handling a welding machine. For
more information, see the operator's safety guidelines in accordance with the manufacturer's
accident prevention requirements.
Risk of electric shock or electrocution:
Body contact with electrically active parts of the machine or its accessories (electrodes, electro-
de holders, torches, work clamps) can cause an electrical shock that can be fatal or cause
serious injury.
• Do not use the machine in the rain or snow.
• Do not touch the electrodes or welding accessories with your bare hands.
• Always wear insulated welding gloves, making sure they are dry and in good condition, without
breaks or perforations.
• Electrically isolate the work area so that people are protected. Do not remove the case of the
machine or manipulate it internally when it is connected to the power supply.
• Only connect the machine to a 220 Volt 50 / 60Hz AC power source.
