Insert the square end of the skewer into the rotisserie anchor bracket on the left
side of the oven.
Turn the temperature knob to 350°F and the function knob to BROIL (Only the top
heating element will be on.)
Turn the timer control knob past 20 and then turn it to the desired cook time.
To remove the cooked meat from the oven, turn the temperature control knob to
150°F and the function & timer knobs to OFF. Open the oven door, using oven
mitts or potholders that completely cover your hands, carefully lift the left side of
the skewer out of the anchor bracket and slowly swing the end out towards the
door until the right side of the skewer comes free from the square hole in the
oven.
Place meat on a clean surface to cool slightly. Using oven mitts, unscrew the wing
nuts and remove them from the skewer. Keep oven mitts on to remove the
skewer and slide the meat onto a cutting surface or serving tray before carving.
Broiling
When cooking on the BROIL function, only the TOP heating element is turned on.
For best results, preheat oven with the door closed at 450°F for at least 5 minutes
before broiling.
The oven is designed to broil with the oven door slightly ajar.
Turn the temperature knob to the desired temperature between 350°F and 450°F
as desired for the optimum broiling temperature for the specific food.
Turn the function knob to BROIL. Turn the timer control knob past 20 and then
turn it to the desired broiling time up to 60 minutes. The power indicator light will
come on while the timer is in use.
Place the food on the bake pan, crumb tray, or the wire rack in any of the rack
positions so long as food is at least 1 ½ inches from the heating element
If the food will drip and you are using the wire rack, place the bake pan under the
wire rack and make sure the food does not extend beyond the bake pan/crumb
tray so drips do not hit the heating element.
Insert the food into the oven and close the door so it is slightly ajar.
Broil the food according to the recipe or package directions and check for
doneness at the minimum suggested broiling time.
Be sure to use oven mitts or potholders to open the door. Slide the wire rack or
pan out using oven mitts or potholders.
Thaw frozen meats first before broiling.
