9 USING THE EXTERNAL MODULE

The external may be equipped with 1 or 2 call buttons depending on the type of property.
When a visitor presses the call button, a bell rings in the corresponding property and the
monitor(s) display(s) the video filmed by the external module camera.
When a person accepts communication on a monitor, the external module microphone
and speaker are activated until communication is cut-off from the monitor or until the
maximum time configured on switch 6 has elapsed (see Section 5.1 Switch No. 28, page
9).
The external module may be connected to:
- a code keypad (ref. 1841220)
- a module with several call butotns (available in 2017).
