5.2 Clean the measuring path
Normal operation of this device may require the use of chemicals or samples that are
biologically unsafe.

Additional cleaning of the measuring path is not necessary if the wiper interval is set for
the appropriate application and the wiper profile is replaced regularly.
To clean the measuring path:
1. Select Menu.
2. From the Main Menu, select Sensor setup and confirm.
3. Select the appropriate sensor, if more than one sensor is attached and confirm.
4. Select Test/Maintenance and confirm.
5. Select Maintenance and confirm.
6. Confirm the displayed Output modeinformation.
7. Select Signal and confirm.
8. Confirm to activate wiper.
9. Remove sensor from the tank. Depending on the degree and nature of the soiling,
10. Soak for 5–10 minutes, then carefully clean the measuring path with distilled water.
11. Press Back to return to Maintenance.

Select the type of protective equipment suitable to the concentration and quantity of
the dangerous material being used.
