Maintenance instructions for batteries
Maintenance helps to prolong battery life.
1. Check the battery monthly in case it is unused for longer periods of time.
A deep discharge is to be avoided, as it reduces the life of the battery.
2. Charge the battery when the voltage drops below 12.4V.
3. Always charge the battery completely.
4. Do not charge the battery below 0°C and above 40°C. Move the battery to a warmer
place within tis range and start charging.
5. If necessary, top up with deionised water up to the marking.
6. Never add acid or other additives.
7. Keep vents uncovered and free from dust.

Maintenance and repair work on the lift may only be carried out by
qualified personnel.

Always maintain and repair the lift without load.
◼
Before carrying out any maintenance or repair work, switch off the lift at
the main switch and disconnect it from the electrical mains.

Work on the electrical equipment of the system may only be carried out by
electricians.
◼
Work on hydraulic equipment may only be carried out by qualified
personnel with special knowledge and experience in hydraulics.
◼
Only use original spare parts.
◼
Always collect oil in a suitable container and dispose of it properly.
◼
After maintenance and repair work on the hydraulic system, it has to be
vented.
◼
During maintenance and repair work, always loosen the screwed
connections and comply with specified torques.
◼
When handling oils, greases and chemical substances, adhere to the
safety instructions for the product.
◼
After structural modifications or repairs to safety-relevant parts, the lifting
system must be checked by an expert.
