4.6 Commissioning using the VMI® LINK PRO app

4.6.1 Pre-requisites

To install the VMI® PRO 1000 system, the VMI® LINK PRO app must first be downloaded and
registration via the VENTILAIRSEC portal is required.
Your VMI® LINK PRO account credentials will consist of your phone number entered under our pro
portal by the administrator who manages your company's VENTILAIRSEC PRO account (www.).
The app is compatible with the following telephone operating systems:
- Android 6 and later
- iOS 8 and later
For the application to work, the Bluetooth option must be enabled on your phone as well as the GPS
feature (your location is not recorded).
The Bluetooth version must be 4.2 or higher for all of the application functions to be available. If you
are using an earlier version, the update function may not be operational.
VMI® LINK PRO app
Once paired, follow the app's process to enter the settings required to complete the set-up.
1 – The maximum number of individuals that can be in the room (between 10 and 40 individuals)
2 – The desired flow rate per person of between 10 and 40 m
(standard departmental health regulations) and labour code)
Once you have logged in to the app, a device pairing page suggests you
select the VMI® PRO 1000 system to set up.
Select the VMI® PRO 1000 system shown in green or the one with the
number closest to 100.
