4 COMMISSIONING

4.1 Checks prior to use

In accordance with local standards, a visual inspection must be carried out after the installation to
check that:

The sizing specifications are respected.
▪
The installation is safe (electrically, mechanically and hydraulically).
▪
The system's components are in good condition.
▪
All components can be accessed for maintenance.
4.2 Commissioning using the VMI® LINK PRO app

4.2.1 Prior to use

To install the VMI® URBAN unit, the VMI® LINK PRO app and registration via the VENTILAIRSEC portal
are first required. www.portailpro.ventilairsec.com
Your VMI® account credentials will consist of your phone number and a password provided by the
administrator who manages your company's VENTILAIRSEC PRO account.
The app is compatible with the following telephones:
- Android 6 and later
- iOS 8 and later
For the application to work, the Bluetooth option must be enabled on your phone as well as the GPS
feature (your location is not recorded).
The Bluetooth version must be 4.2 or higher.
4.2.2 VMI® LINK PRO app
First switch the VMI® on.
Once you have logged in to the app, a device pairing page suggests you select the VMI® URBAN
VISION'R unit to set up.
Select the VMI URBAN VISION'R unit shown in green or the one with the number closest to 100.
