Installing The Vmi® Pro 1000 Housing; Air Connection; Electrical Connection - VMI PRO 1000 Manual De Instalación Y Mantenimiento

To install the VMI® PRO 1000 system, the VMI® LINK PRO app must first be downloaded and
registration via the VENTILAIRSEC portal is required.
3.1 Installing the VMI® PRO 1000 housing
Potential types of installation:
- Indoor (check filter clearance between the hatch and a wall > 350 mm)
o Ground-mounting or fitted on a bracket or support system (always horizontal)
o Hatch is suspended upwards or downwards via interfacing holes on the four bases
(always horizontal). Make sure the filter is on the outdoor air inlet side.
- Outdoor
o Ground-mounting or fitted on a support system. Horizontally with the hatch
systematically facing upwards.

3.2 Air connection

Check the correct direction of air flow and connect the "upstream" duct from the outdoor air inlet to
the side closest to the filter. Refer to the air flow label on the housing.
You are recommended to connect rigid ducts with flexible sleeves.

3.3 Electrical connection

The appliance must be connected by a professional according to local standards (NFC 15-100 in France)
in relation to the safety regulations in force for the type of installation premises (sites open to the
public, etc.), or applicable local standard in other countries.
This step must only be done when the other installation steps are finished. This avoids any risk of
electric shocks when installing the various parts of the system.
The VMI® PRO 100 system must be connected to a dedicated line. On the switchboard, the installation
must be equipped with C-curve thermal magnetic 16A bipolar circuit breaker type protection, in turn
connected to circuit protection by means of a differential device and a disconnecting device in the
fixed line.
Type of cable: 3 x 1.5 mm² (2-phase + earth conductor)
Network: single phase 230 VAC, 50 Hz
1- Connect the phase and neutral to the cutout thermostat
2 – Connect the grounding cable to the terminal
board
Provide a long enough grounding cable and adjust
the phase and neutral cables.
