completely dissolved. In the long run, all salt not dissolved may generate corrosion problems on the contact spot.
Please use small crystals of salts (less than 3 mm) only after boiling. If this is not possible and the salt to be dissolved has large
crystals, dissolve it in warm water in a separate container.

HOW TO USE THE ELECTRIC BRATPAN

(Drawings point N. 3.0.1 and figure 2).
Turn handle (1) in order to turn the switch on and set in into position 1 ; the
green-coloured line warning light will then switch on ; turn handle (L) that
controls the thermostat. You can now set the desired temperature which is also
indicated onto the handle. If the yellow warning light is on, the heating elements
are on ; when it switches off, the temperature indicated onto the handle has been
reached. The yellow warning light switches on when the desired temperature
onto the plate has lost around 15°C ; it will stay lit until the content of the
bratpan reaches the desired temperature. Turn handle (L) anticlockwise in order
to switch the bratpan off until the zero ("0") reaches the limit switch position
(indicator). The yellow warning light will automatically switch off ; in order to
completely switch the bratpan off, set handle (I) of the switch control onto the
position "0" ; the green warning light will also turn off.

CONTAINER LIFTING AND DRAINING

In order to facilitate the drainage of the container, the bratpan is equipped with a mechanical lifting device that is moved by
rotating the tilting hand wheel (V) ; it lifts the container until tilting at 90°.
WARNING
During the operation of the heating elements, make sure that the container is in a perfect horizontal position and is laying
onto the floor.

TEMPERATURE LIMITING DEVICE

Bratpans are equipped with a safety thermostat (Z) that is activated in case of an irregular operation of the standard thermostat.
After the activation of the safety thermostat, you need to re-activate the thermostat in order for the bratpan to operate. This
operation has to be carried out by highly skilled personnel who will investigate the reason of the activation.

- Clean the stainless steel parts daily with soapy lukewarm water, then rinse well and dry thoroughly.
- Absolutely avoid to clean the stainless steel with common steel-wool, or common steel brushes and scrapers, as they may
discard ferrous particles which, on depositing, cause rust spots. You may, if you like, use stainless steel-wool passed on
following the butter-finish direction.
- Should the unit remain unused for long periods, heavily rub all the steel surfaces with a cloth slightly wetted with vaseline
oil, in order to cover them with a protective film. Periodically ventilate the premises.
COOKING TANK
Drain the tank then thoroughly clean them by using an appropriate detergent and avoiding to scrape or scratch the tank
bottom. Rinse well, so as to remove all traces of detergent.
STAINLESS STEEL PARTS
The stainless steel parts must be cleaned with soapy water and then dried with a soft cloth. The bright polish is kept by
periodical wiping with liquid (POLISH), a product easily available.
