on the purchase of the recharging
base for the portable RF receiver
and hope it will serve you for a long
time to come.
Please read through these operating
instructions carefully. They tell you
how to set up the system correctly
and explain all the system's features
to you.
Standard components
Please check if all following compo-
nents are included:
- Recharging base with bridge
element and 4 safety screws
- 2 x NiMH rechargeable batteries
(Type AAA)
- Power supply unit
- Operating instructions
- Guarantee card
If any parts are missing, please
immediately contact your dealer or
the manufacturer directly.
How to Start
1. Please first remove the batteries
from the RF receiver and replace
them with the rechargeable bat-
teries included with the base.
2. Connect the recharging base with
the power supply by inserting the
round plug into the DC jack on the
back of the recharging base.
3. Plug the power cord into a 230-
volt power outlet.
Rechargeable Batteries
The recharging base comes with 2
NiMH rechargeable batteries. If the
rechargeable batteries are properly
charged and discharged, they will have
a long service life.
Please make sure that the batteries
are inserted correctly in the battery
compartment of the portable RF recei-
ver. The illustration on the bottom of
the battery compartment indicates the
correct direction.
Please note that the rechargeable bat-
teries are not charged on delivery and
must be completely charged (at least
12 hours) in the portable RF receiver in
the recharging base first.
To recharge your portable RF
receiver, please use only the
rechargeable batteries included
with the recharging base or the
rechargeable batteries that are
available as special accessories
(A-2994-0).
