TAPS, ALUMINIUM PARTS

wet cloth or neutral detergent, rinse with clean water and dry.
Do not use abrasive cloths, powder detergents, acetone
or other solvents.

SHOWER HEAD
FLEXIBLE SHOWERHEAD
These components are equipped with a scale-removal filter,
which can be cleaned with a sponge. For normal cleaning oper-
ations, see instructions for taps.
CLEANING THE THERMOSTATIC VALVE
The thermostatic valve is provided with mesh filters to trap any im-
purities in the water. Over time, these filters could become
clogged and, therefore, inhibit the functions of the mixer tap. To
clean them, do the following:
D
I (1) Turn off the water supply (hot and cold) to the shower en-
closure.
I (2) Drain the water from the mixing group by placing the deviator
ring nut (G) on the position "D- showerhead". Then set the shower-
head on the floor to improve water drainage. Completely open the
stop tap(R), drain the remaining water, and then close it again.
I (3) Remove the plug (T) from the knob of the mixer, and then
the screw (V).
I (4) Remove the knob (M).
I (5) Remove the screw peg (S) and the ring nut (F), and also
remove the safety stop (E).
I (6) Remove the coupling (J) and unscrew the ring nut (H).
I (7) Remove the thermostatic valve (L), clean the mesh filters
with a small brush and rinse. If scale is present, remove it with
specific products.
I (8) Reassemble the various components, following the same
procedure in reverse order.
NOTE: check the proper position of the knob (M) with respect
to the graduated scale (on the ring nut F) and the safe-
ty stop (E).
CLEANING THE INLET FILTERS
The filters at the bottom of the panel may get clogged due to
impurities in the water or the build-up lime scale.
Proceed as follows to remove and clean the filters:
I Follow the instructions in points (1) and (2) in the chapter
"Cleaning the thermostatic valve"
I Remove the shower head and the shower connection. Remove
the Jacuzzi logo and also the screw beneath it (1).
I After removing the cover panel (2), unscrew the closure plugs
(located above the filters) with a suitable wrench (3).
