• In heating mode:
Display of furnace temperature/holding time.
• In programming mode:
Display of rate of increase/holding temperature/
holding time.
Display of the actual program step (1 - 4)
Display of the active program (1 - 9)
• In Standby mode:
Display of day (Mo = 1, Tue = 2, ...)
and time (hh:mm).
• In heating mode:
Display of time of completion
LED lights green for activated casting time selector.
LED below the Start/Stop key lights green for
activated heating operation.
4.6 Delivery includes
The pre-heating furnace comes ready-to-use with:
• a ceramic insert,
• a PtRh-Pt thermo element and
• an exhaust pipe.
4.7 Options
In place of the exhaust pipe the furnace may also be
equipped with the following options for exhaust
extraction and treatment:
• Mihm-Vogt vapour extractor DG2 or extraction
hood DU1-DU3/3 with outdoor air outlet.
• Mihm-Vogt catalyst KN1 or KN2.
5. Transport, packing and storage
5.1 Safety information for transport
Improper transport
CAUTION!
Damages due to improper transport!
In case of improper transport tangible damages in
considerable extent may arise. Therefore:
• Use caution during offloading of the packages,
during delivery and in-house transport and pay
attention to the symbols and information on the
packaging.
• Remove packaging only shortly before installation.
Weight of furnace
CAUTION! Risk of injuries due to
!
improper lifting of the furnace!
Improper lifting of the furnace may cause back pain
or injuries due to its high weight. Therefore:
• If necessary call additional person for lifting the
furnace.
5.2 Symbols on packaging
Top
The arrow points of the symbol mark the top
of the package. They must always point to
the top otherwise the contents could be
damaged.
Fragile
Marks packages with breakable or sensitive
contents. Handle the package with caution.
Do not let drop and prevent from impacts.
5.3 Transport inspection
Immediately after reception of the delivery check for
completeness and transport damages.
In case of recognisable outside transport damages
do the following:
• Do not accept delivery or only conditionally.
• Note scope of damages on the waybill or the
delivery note of the forwarder.
• Initiate claim.
NOTE!
Claim any fault as soon as it becomes obvious.
Claims for damages can only be submitted during
the applicable claims period.
5.4 Packaging
About packaging
The individual packages are packed according
to the expected transport conditions. Only environ-
mentally-friendly materials were used as packaging.
Until assembly the packaging should protect the
individual components from transport damages,
corrosion and other damages. Therefore do not
damage the packaging and remove only shortly
before assembly.
Handling of packaging materials
Dispose of packaging materials according to the
relevant legal regulations and local directives.
CAUTION! Environmental damages due
to wrong disposal!
Packaging materials are valuable raw materials and
may be further used in many cases or may be
recycled and reused. Therefore:
• Dispose packaging in an environmentally-friendly
way.
• Observe locally applicable disposal regulations.
Possibly contract an authorised company for
disposal.
