0498, for additional testing to assure compliance with Directive 89/686/EEC and its performance in accordance with the impact test requirements of
technical Standard: EN 14021:2003 "Stone shields for off-road motorcycling suited to protect riders against stones and debris – Requirements and
test methods", Section 4.7. According to Section 4.7 and 5.1.2, and 6.6, after an impact force of 10 J, the average peak force recorded below the
anvil, shall be below 27 kN. The test of the chest plate on the front panel of the Stryker Rig resulted in a peak force of 4.7 kN.
