protection and safety, neither the Stryker Rig nor the attached impact protectors or back protector should cause any discomfort and they should
not reduce the rider's freedom of movement or restrict the reach to, or operation of, the motorcycle controls while in a normal riding position. If
you are unable to find a proper fit in the Stryker Rig you have chosen, please try another CE certified product(s) that fits you correctly.
Removal of back Protector and Wearing Instructions and Adjustment for Use Without the back Protector
is removed NO back protection of any kind is offered by Stryker Rig or any of the attached impact protectors)
1. Remove back protector by releasing the elastic loop and plastic hook supports at the top of the back protector by the shoulders (J). Unzip the back
protector attachment zippers (K). Remove back protector. Waistband and waistband adjustment straps are attached to the back protector and will
be removed with the back protector.
2. Release the hook and loop fastener on the forearm adjustment straps (F) by grasping the end and pulling outward. Release the front panel of
the Stryker Rig by releasing the adjustable side release buckle (C) and unzipping the front zipper (B). Pull Stryker Rig on, by inserting arms into
the sleeves and thumbs through the thumb loops (G), at the end of the sleeves, letting the shoulder impact protectors (A) rest on the top of the
shoulders. Make sure that the elbow impact protectors (L) are in place over the elbows and that the sleeves of the Stryker Rig are not twisted.
3. Zip the front zipper (B) and reattach the adjustable side release buckle (C) by inserting the male half of the buckle into the female half. Be sure
that the side release buttons of the buckle are firmly engaged. Pull the forearm adjustment straps (F) snug and towards the inside of the forearm,
re-engage the hook and loop fastener material by pressing firmly on the loose end of the adjustment strap and onto the forearm. Pull the loose end
of the exposed strap adjustable side release buckle (C) snug. Pull the loose end of the exposed strap of the plastic strap adjuster (I) snug.
4. The position and movement of the shoulder impact protectors may be adjusted by adding slack (increases rider freedom of movement and
protector movement) or removing slack (decreases rider freedom of movement and protector movement) to the straps running through the
adjustable side release buckle (C) and the plastic strap adjuster (I). The position and movement of the elbow protectors may be adjusted using the
forearm adjustment straps (F). Release the hook and loop fastener on the forearm adjustment straps (F) by grasping the end and pulling outward.
Pull the forearm adjustment straps (F) snug and towards the inside of the forearm, re-engage the hook and loop fastener material by pressing firmly
on the loose end of the adjustment strap and onto the forearm. When reattaching the forearm adjustment straps (F) according to the instructions
in Section 2 above, adding slack to forearm adjustment straps, causes the elbow protectors to fit more loosely and removing slack from the elastic
straps, causes the elbow impact protectors to fit more snugly.
5. In all cases, confirm that the Stryker Rig and the impact protectors attached to it are in the correct position, and cover the areas to be protected.
Be sure that the garment fits snugly but not too tightly and that all adjustment straps are snug but not too tight. Confirm that the garment
movement is minimal and that wearing the garment does not prevent moving and controlling of all motorcycle controls. For maximum protection
and safety, neither the Stryker Rig nor the attached impact protectors should cause any discomfort and they should not reduce the rider's freedom
of movement or restrict the reach to, or operation of, the motorcycle controls while in a normal riding position. If you are unable to find a proper
fit in the Stryker Rig you have chosen, please try another CE certified product(s) that fits you correctly.
Re-attachment of back Protector and Wearing Instructions and Adjustment
1. Lay the Stryker Rig on a flat surface with the back of the shirt where the back protector attachment zippers (K) are located, facing up. Lay the
back protector (M) down on the Stryker Rig with the plastic plates of the back protector facing up. Re-attach back protector attachment zippers (K)

being sure not to capture any excess material in the zippers. Re-attach the elastic loop and plastic hook supports at the top of the back protector
by the shoulders (J) by pulling the elastic loop sewn in at the edge of the shoulder impact protector (A) into the plastic hook attached to the top
of the back protector (M).
2. Once the back protector (M) is attached to the Stryker Rig, follow the instructions in the section above "Wearing Instructions and Adjustment with
Back Protector Attached", Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4.

before Every Use:
Check all plastic adjusters and hooks, zippers, and hook and loop fastener material, for wear, dirt, or anything else that may prevent them from
functioning correctly and fastening securely. PPE that is improperly fastened cannot protect the user. Check all impact protectors and back protector
for wear, cracks, loose rivets, or other damage that might possibly impair their performance. If any Stryker Rig parts become cracked, separated, torn,
or otherwise worn, replace the Stryker Rig immediately
In the Event of an Impact:
In the event of impact, the key elements of the Stryker Rig including the impact protectors and back protector may become compromised and
they may no longer provide the limited protection against the forces described in the "Use Restrictions and Limitations" section above, and the
"Performance" and "Protection Limitations" sections below. The damage may not be visible to the naked eye. In all cases of impact, replace the
complete Stryker Rig. Replacement Stryker Rigs can be purchased at Icon® retail locations.
5 year Rule:
In general, all PPE should be replaced at least every five years even if the PPE has not suffered any damage.
