Silence

 In the "Audio" menu, choose the "Ringer tone" entry with "OK".
 Now select the "Silence" entry.  Select "Beep" or "Off" and confirm with "OK".

Advisory tones

You can choose whether a signal tone should sound for each of the following
functions ("Off"), or if you would like to hear a quiet or loud signal tone:
 "Key tone": Signal tone "On" or "Off" for every pressed key.
 "Acknowledgement tone": Signal tone "On" or "Off" when a setting is
confirmed.
 "Battery empty": Signal tone "On" or "Off" when the rechargeable
battery is almost empty.
