TAKING PICTURES
1
Compose the picture.
Turn the Dioptre adjustment dial to see the Autofocus mark
clearly.
2
Press the Shutter release button halfway to lock the focus. The
Green lamp lights.
3
Press the Shutter release button all the way to take the picture.
The Green lamp goes off and a Memory block on the control
panel appears.
4
The camera starts recording the image. The Card access lamp
blinks and the image appears on the LCD monitor for approx.
five seconds.
Unless the SmartMedia card is full, the Shutter may continue to
be released even while the image is being recorded, until all five
Memory blocks appear. The display on the LCD monitor goes
out.
5
When all five Memory blocks appear, no other operation can be
performed while the camera records the images. (The Green
lamp blinks.) One Memory block disappears every time an
image is recorded onto the card (the Green lamp goes off), at
which time the camera is ready for the next picture.
The viewfinder shows 95% of the actual picture taken.
Caution:
Never open the Card compartment cover, eject
the card, remove the batteries or disconnect the
AC adapter while the Card access lamp is
blinking. It may destroy the data in the card.
