When the camera is connected to a computer, an error
message appears while data is being transferred to the
computer.
1 The cable is not plugged in correctly.
[ Connect the cable correctly. (P. 164)
2 The power is OFF.
[ Press the power button to turn it ON. (P. 118)
3 The batteries are exhausted.
[ Replace the batteries with new ones (P. 52) or use the
optional AC adapter (P. 56).
4 The serial port is not selected correctly.
[ Use the operating system software to see if the serial
port is selected correctly. (P. 164)
5 There is no available serial port.
[ Make one available by following the personal
computer's instructions.
[ Turn off AppleTalk/LocalTalk (Macintosh only).
6 The image transfer speed is not selected correctly.
[ Select the right speed on the computer.
7 TWAIN/Plug-In is not installed.
[ Install TWAIN/Plug-In on your computer.
* When no operations can be performed by pressing
any buttons, push the Reset button in the Card
compartment cover, then press the Power button.
