2 GENERAL INFORMATION

2.1 ABOUT THE MANUAL

This manual contains information for the proper installation and operation of the inverter,
commissioning, main technical features and how to identify the most usual problems of the
different models of inverters of the ADW300 line.
NOTE!
It is not the intention of this manual to present all the possibilities for the application
of the ADW300, as well as WEG cannot take any liability for the use of the ADW300
which is not based on this manual.

2.2 ABOUT THE ADW300

The ADW300 frequency inverter is a high-performance product which allows speed and torque
control of three-phase induction motors. This product was specifically developed for applications
in treadmills, allowing the use of 3 programmable operation modes for speed control through
different reference/command sources:
Via frequency signal (Frequency Input - FI) adjusted as factory setting mode.

Via Electronic Potentiometer reference (Digital Inputs - DIs).
„
Via Serial reference (RS600).
