• Caution – if operating equipment or procedures are used which differ from those specified here, this can result in dangerous exposure to radiation.
• Never look into the laser beam, not even with optical instruments (e.g. glasses, contact lenses, magnifying glass, microscope etc.) from a distance of 100 mm or less.
If this happens, immediately consult an eye specialist. The unit is a Class 2M laser.
• Do not use on small children or vulnerable individuals.
• Patients who have previously had a face lift must consult their skin specialist before using the Softlaser.
• If you are uncertain about its use, we recommend you consult your doctor.
• The laser beam must not be directed against other persons.
• The laser unit must be stored out of the reach of children.
• The laser unit must be secured against improper use by unauthorised persons.
• The unit should not be used with anaesthetic gases or flammable substances.
• The batteries should be removed if the unit is not to be used for some time. Replace batteries once the unit has been used approximately 100 times.
• The visible metal parts are manufactured from medical-grade steel. If used and cleaned correctly no allergic reactions are therefore to be expected.
• For reasons of hygiene, the softlaser should only be used on one person.
• Repairs may only be carried out by the specified authorised repair centres. Caution: Incorrect handling and faulty repairs may lead to a dangerous exposure to radiation.
• The laser unit must not be used in clinical areas or in the vicinity of strong electromagnetic fields (e.g., close to radiation units or mobile telephones etc.).
