Mounting
• The IN40-D0101K safety switch can be installed in
copper, aluminium and brass either flush or surface
mounted; this type of mounting results in the catego-
rization I1C40SP2 as per EN 60 947-5-2.
• The IN40-D0101K safety switch is not allowed to
be mounted flush in steel; this type of mounting
results in the categorization I2C40SP2 as per
EN 60 947-5-2.
• Pay attention to safe switch off distance and enable
zone (cf. Tab. 1).
• The minimum distances stated in Fig. 4 for neigh-
bouring sensors, sensors mounted opposite and the
minimum distances to fixed parts of the plant and
walls must be observed.
