Remedy of faults
Malfunction
Pump does not start
Pump does not deliver.
Fountain height insufficient or inconsistent
Pump switches off after a short running period.
Maintenance and cleaning
W A R N I N G
Possible death or severe injury from hazardous electrical voltage!
• Prior to reaching into the water, isolate (switch off and disconnect) all units/devices used in the water.
• Isolate the device (disconnect from the power supply) before carrying out any work on it.
Cleaning the unit
N O T E
Recommendation regarding cleaning:
• Clean the unit as required but at least twice a year.
• When cleaning the pump, pay particular attention to the cleaning of the impeller unit and pump housing.
• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as they could attack the housing or impair the function
of the unit.
• Recommended cleaning agent for removing stubborn limescale deposits:
– Pump cleaning agent PumpClean from OASE.
– Vinegar- and chlorine-free household cleaning agent.
• After cleaning, thoroughly rinse all parts in clean water.

Cause
No mains voltage
Filter housing clogged
Excessively soiled water
The impeller unit is blocked
Filter/screen soiled or clogged
Main flow regulator closed too far
Nozzle blocked
Impeller unit soiled
Hose clogged or defective
Hose kinked
Excessive loss due to friction in the hose
Rotor worn
Excessively soiled water
Water temperature too high
The impeller unit is blocked
Pump has run dry.
Remedy
• Check the mains voltage.
• Check supply lines.
Clean strainer casings
Clean the pump. The pump automatically
switches on again once the motor has cooled
down.
Disconnect the power supply and remove ob-
stacle. Then switch the pump on again.
Clean filter/screen
Adjust main flow regulator
Clean nozzle/screen
Clean
Clean/replace hose
Check hose and replace if necessary
Reduce hose length to reduce frictional loss
Replace rotor
Clean the pump. The pump automatically
switches on again once the motor has cooled
down.
Note maximum water temperature of +35°C.
The pump automatically switches on again
once the motor has cooled down.
Disconnect the power supply and remove ob-
stacle. Then switch the pump on again.
Disconnect the power plug and flood the pump.
Fully submerge the pump for operation in the
pond. Then switch the pump on again.
