The blower fan channel behind the air out-
let grille (4) should be checked by a qual-
ified installer every two years. Slight dirt
deposits may gather there.
Whenever you have the heaters serviced,
we propose to check also the control- and
regulations of the heaters. At the latest 10
years after taking them into work, you must
check the Safety- and Control-Regulations
and the Load- and Discharge-Control-Sys-
tem, by a skilled electrician.

1.4.1 Cleaning the fluff screen R
The fluff screen (6) which is located in the
air inlet grille (5) must be cleaned regularly,
in order to guarantee that the heat storage
unit will discharge heat perfectly.
If the fluff screen is blocked, the fans will
switch off.
To clean the screen, apply the following
procedure:
– Pull the air inlet grill of the lower part for-
ward from the catch spring and take it off
by raising it from the upper lock
– Press the fluff screen out of the grille, us-
ing a screwdriver for example, and clean
it with a brush, vacuum cleaner, or simi-
lar;

fuses concerned in your fusebox are de-
fective, or whether the e.l.c.b. (earth-lea-
kage circuit-breaker) has tripped.
Rectify the cause.
If the storage heater has still not heated
up on the following day, call the quali-
fied installer.

blower fan is being switched on by the
room temperature sensor.
If not, call the qualified installer.
. . . fluff trap in the air intake grille is blo-
cked.
Rectify this as under Point 1.4.1.

– Insert the fluff screen back in the grille,
and allow it to engage it over the burled
edges;
– Hook in the upper edge of the air inlet
grill into the locking screws of the air-
channel-group, than push it on to the
lower catch-springs.
1.5 Important note
Keep these Instructions in a safe
place, and give them to the next oc-
cupant if you move house.
In the event of any maintenance work be-
ing carried out, allow the qualified installer
to inspect it.
