the maximum depression of the room does not
exceed 4 Pa (4x0 bar).

3.5 - ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

Check that the mains voltage complies with the
that required by the hood.
This is indicated on the plate that is applied inside
the appliance.
A plug vin compliance with norms and .5 mt. of
cable are supplied.

3.6 - OPERATING CHECKS

Check lights and motor start-up on all 4
speeds.
4 - CARBON FILTERS 'HER' (Fig.4)
4.1- CAUTION
Unlike traditional carbon filters, this carbon filter
can be washed and reactivated.
With normal hood use, the filter should be
cleaned once a month. The filter is best washed in
a dishwasher at the highest temperature possible,
using a normal dishwasher detergent.
To avoid particles of food or dirt setting on the
filter during washing and giving rise to unpleasant
smells, it is advisable to wash the filter on its own.
After washing, dry the filter in the oven at 100°C
for 10 minutes to reactivate it. The filter will retain
its odour absorbing capacity for three years, after
which it will have to be replaced.

DISpOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL AppLIANCES
The European Directive 2002/96/EC on
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE), requires that old household electri-
cal appliances must not be disposed of in
the normal unsorted municipal waste
stream. Old appliances must be collected
separately in order to optimise the recovery and recy-
cling of the materials they contain and reduce the impact
on human health and the environment.
The crossed out "wheeled bin" symbol on the product
reminds you of your obligation, that when you dispose
of the appliance it must be separately collected.
Consumers should contact their local authority or
retailer for information concerning the correct disposal
of their old appliance.
