Identifying a vehicle
The Vehicle Identifi cation screen is displayed.
Vehicle Identification
Auto
Here you have three possibilities for identifying
the vehicle:
Auto: The VSSP 2.0 identifi es the vehicle automatically
via the OBD interface.
Manual: You enter the vehicle identifi cation number
(VIN) manually.
Unknown: You select the vehicle date from lists.
The VSSP 2.0 identifi es the vehicle automatically when
you select the Auto option. The vehicle data is called up
directly from the electronic control units of the vehicle.
In the Vehicle Identifi cation screen tap on the Auto
button.
The message Please connect the OBD plug is
displayed.
Connect the VSSP 2.0 to the vehicle via the OBD cable.
Tap on the Next button.
The message, Key on... is displayed.
Switch on the vehicle's ignition.
