inert welding shielding gas (MIG) and the active welding shielding gas
(MAG). The cable assembly (3) serves as supply line and includes all
connection elements.

The standard torch necks (1) of VTS torch system are available in the
geometries straight, 22°, 35° and 45° bends. Special designs will be
manufactured upon request depending on the application. In connection with
the uniform interface, all existing welding torches can be connected to the
cable assembly (2) on the torch neck side.

The liquid-cooled cable assembly (3) provides the torch neck (1) with all
components required for welding such as welding current (6), welding wire,
welding shielding gas and coolant (3), (5).

For the entire duration of maintenance, servicing, dismounting and repair
work, the following instructions must be adhered to:
• Switch off the power supply.
• Close off the compressed air supply.
• Pull the mains plug.
NOTE
• The cleaning station may only be put into operation by trained
personnel.
• For mounting the torch mount to the CAT2 robot mount, please observe
the operating instructions of the CAT2 BAL.0089.
