Note :
• The V200 first stage 3/8" LP ports can accommodate
the safe second stage octopus and the buoyancy com-
pensator LP hose and / or drysuit inflator hose.
• On the 7/16" HP port, install a pressure gauge to check
air supply during the dive.
• A 3300 psi DIN or 4400 psi DIN connection kit can be
installed on the V200 first stage by a BEUCHA T authori-
zed dealer.
• A 3300 psi DIN to yoke adapter is available under r ef.
#16740 to allow the mounting and the use of a DIN r e gu-
lator on a standard K-valve cylinder.
2 - COLD WATER USE
Use of regulators in water temperature colder than 50 F /
10° C, requires special equipment and precautions.
Only the VR T30 "Cold type", VR T80 Evolution, VX10
Iceberg, VX200 Iceberg, VR200 Soft T
Evolution et VR200 Iceberg should be used in cold water
diving.
1. Make sur e that your air supply meet the EN 12021
quality norm requirements.
2. Use a cylinder with a dual outlet Y-valve and two inde-

pendent breathing system outfitted for cold water use.
3. Do not expose the regulator to cold air (colder than 32
F / 10°C). Place the regulator first stage in the cold water
to bring its temperature up before use.
4. Do not purge the second stage outside the water to
avoid freezing incidence.
5. During the dive : do not purge unnecessary demands
on your regulator, i.e. avoid using all at once the r egula-
tor, the octopus, the BC power inflator and the dry-suit
valve. do not purge the regulator unless required.
6. If the regulator were to freeze up accidentally and the-
refore free flow, switch to your second br eathing system
and abort the dive.
WARNING : Cold water diving r equires special equip-
ment and training. Failur e to follow the above instruc -
tions and recommendations can result in serious injury or
death. Certified instruction should be r eceived and com-
pleted for cold water and ice diving fr om a certified ins-
tructor by a r ecognized training agency prior to attemp -
ting any cold water or ice diving.
