The thermostat can be set to 2 different control modes:
• Slave: the function depends on the device configured as Master (for instance the Easy
EIB timer-thermostat GW 10 761), that set the thermostat operation type and mode.
In this function mode the thermostat uses the set-point values that are set locally. It
is possible to change the set temperature set-point (max variation ± 3 °C), whilst it
is not possible to change the operation mode. The modified set-point will remain valid
until the Master device sends a new operation mode.
• Stand alone: The thermostat operation type and mode are set locally. The operation
status does not depend on any other device In Stand-alone mode it is possible to vary
the set-point at will and enable the thermostat to receive remote commands from
other devices, such as for instance a button or the EIB Easy GSM remote control unit
GW 90 861.
The thermostat foresees 4 different operation modes:
• ECONOMY
• PRECOMFORT
• COMFORT
• OFF-FROSTPROTECT/HIGH TEMPERATURE PROTECTION
