OPERATION
The small side lever lets the chain shift down onto the smaller
sprockets; the longer lever shifts the chain upwards (picture 1). The
brake lever is independent from the shifting mechanism: it is possible
to brake while shifting.
The 2 shifters can be operated with the hands in a either high or low
position on the handlebar.
Each lever normally shifts 1 cog for each click in both up - and
downshifting. However there are selections that allow the shifting of
more than one speed with only one click of the lever.
ATTENTION! SELECT THE DESIRED SPACING (PAGE 13) BE-
FORE MOUNTING THE LEVER ON THE HANDLEBAR.
INSTALLATION.
a) Turn the lever-hood inside out (picture 2); loosen or disas
semble the clamp and position the lever at the position
illustrated in picture 2, at ISO norms.
The "A" hole makes it easier to re-assemble the clamp.
Avoid positionning the lever-end at a higher position that the " P "
line (handlebar leaning plain), because there would be the risk, that
the demountable "B" plug does not completely lean on the lever-
body, by hampering in this way the correct sliding of the inner selec-
tor.
b) Tighten the lever on the bar with a 5mm Alien key.
TORQUE: 70 - 90 Nm
