1. Safety instructions
• Do not throw batteries into a fire, do not short-circuit them and do not
dismantle them.
• Do not expose batteries to extreme conditions; for example, do not place
the camera on top of radiators. There is an increased risk of leakage.
• If the device is not going to be used for long periods, remove the batteries.
• Remove leaking batteries from the device immediately. Clean the
contacts before inserting new batteries. There is a risk of skin irritations
from battery acid.
• Also remove dead batteries from the device.

page 11.

Precautionary measures

• Please note the following precautionary measures to avoid damage to
your camera and to keep it in good condition.
• Store in a dry place
This camera is not waterproof and can be damaged if it is immersed in
water or if liquids get into the interior of the camera.
• Keep it away from damp, salt and dust
Wipe away salt and dust with a slightly damp soft cloth if you have used
the camera on the beach or near the coast. Dry the camera carefully
afterwards.
