SWITCH
The ON / OFF switch is located at the rear of the inflator just below
the storage compartment in the cavity that acts as a carrying
handle.
120v AC Mode
• Always fully extend the 120v AC cord before each use.
• To turn the inflator on, plug in the 120 volt cord and press the top
part of the switch marked "AC" (figure D).
• To turn the inflator off, partially depress the bottom part of the
switch marked "DC" to the "0" position.
12v DC Mode
WARNING! RISK OF UNSAFE OPERATION:
• Do not operate inflator when car engine is running.
• Always fully extend the 12v dc cord before each use.
• To turn the inflator on, plug the 12 volt adaptor into your vehicle's 12
volt accessory socket and press the bottom part of the switch
marked "DC" (figure D).
• To turn the inflator off, partially depress the top part of the switch
marked "AC" to the "0" position.
HOSE AND CORD STORAGE
The hose and cords are stored in the storage compartment on top
of the Inflator. The holes in both sides of the cover allow for the hose
and cord to be out of the compartment so that the compartment
cover can be closed while the Inflator is in use. (figure E)
MAINTENANCE
Use only mild soap and damp cloth to clean the tool. Never let any liquid get inside the
tool; never immerse any part of the tool into a liquid.
IMPORTANT: To assure product SAFETY and RELIABILITY, repairs, maintenance and
adjustment (other than those listed in this manual) should be performed by authorized
service centers or other qualified service personnel, always using identical replacement
parts.
Problem
• Unit will not start.

Possible Cause
• Pressure setting may be
below the actual pressure.
• Fuse in 12 volt adaptor blown.
• Pointer is in contact with needle
indicator.
• Cord not plugged in.
• Circuit fuse is blown.

Possible Solution
• Adjust pressure setting
pointer to a higher setting.
• Replace adaptor and cord.
• Adjust pressure setting
pointer to a higher setting.
• Plug tool into a working
outlet.
• Replace circuit fuse.
(If the product repeatedly
causes the circuit fuse to
blow, discontinue use
immediately and have it
serviced at a Black &
Decker service center or
authorized servicer.)
