INDICATIONS FOR CE MARKING
Each machine has the following identifiers:
- Manufacturer's name and address:
SAMMIC, S.L. Basarte
Gipuzkoa (SPAIN).
- "CE" mark.
- The machine model is indicated in the
following section.
- The serial number is shown in the gua-
rantee sheet and in the compliance note.
MODELS. COMPLIANCE WITH THE REGU-
LATIONS
This manual describes the installation, opera-
tion and maintenance of PP-6+, PP-12+ (sim-
ple), PPC-6+, PPC-12+ (combined) peelers.
The model and its characteristics are indi-
cated in the nameplate of the machine.
These peelers are designed and manufac-
tured in accordance with the following
European directives:
2006/95/CE, 2004/108/CE.

SET UP AND INSTALLATION

To get the best benefits, as well as a suita-
ble conservation of the machine, you must
carefully follow the set up and installations
instructions as well as the user's instruc-
tions contained in this manual.

OCATION
Put the machine on a flat, horizontal, rigid
surface to avoid vibrations and noises.
At its location, the machine needs a socket,
a cold water tap and a drainage.

LECTRIC CONNECTION
Check that the electrical specifications of
the machine are compatible with the mains
power supply.

Single- phase machines: 230V / 50 Hz /
1 ; 220V / 60 Hz / 1 ; 120V / 60 Hz / 1.
Prepare a wall-mounted socket that is
always accessible, with a residual current
and magneto thermal protection of 2P, 16
A, with its corresponding plug.
Three- phase machines: 230- 400V / 50
Hz / 3 (connected to 400V) ; 220- 380V /
60 Hz / 3 (connected to 220V).
Prepare a wall-mounted socket that is
always accessible, with a residual current
and magneto thermal protection of 4P, 16
A, with its corresponding plug.
To change the voltage, change as indicated
in the electrical diagram.
Rotation direction: The plate must rotate accor-
ding to the arrow indicated on the peeler (coun-
ter-clockwise), if it rotates in the opposite direc-
tion the rotation direction is inverted by exchan-

Characteristics of the cable:
The peelers are supplied with 1.8 m of ther-
moplastic-sheathed cable. THE EARTH
CONNECTION IS OBLIGATORY. The earth
connection wire is indicated.

Avoid bend pipes and inclinations that obs-
truct the drainage. Exit diameter for all the
models: Ø 46 mm.

XIT OOR FOR PEELED POTATOES
The door for discharging the potatoes can
be orientated after loosening the 2 screws
of the cylinder base.

UPPORT WITH OR WITHOUT FILTER
PP-6+, PP-12+ (simples), PPC-6+, PPC-12+
(combined) peelers can be installed on a
rigid table or on a SAMMIC support. We
recommend the support for all models in
order to ease the draining.
OPERATION TERMS. USE
Before using the machine for the first time,
clean the area in contact with food with
(lukewarm) soapy water, rinse and leave to
dry.

OADING OF THE MACHINE
The machine is loaded by lifting the cover
of the machine and loading it with a maxi-
mum of 5-6 Kg of potatoes for PP-6+ PPC-
6+ and 10-12 Kg for PP-12+ PPC-12, depen-
ding on the size of the potatoes. The pota-
toes should not contain stones or other
materials that can damage the machine.
