PROBLEM
While in operation, the lift
stops and won't move
either up or down..
When the lift is activated,
the motor starts but the lift

CORRECTIVE ACTION
a) Raise the lift a few centimetres using a spanner over the top
nut of the driven spindle until the obstacle can be freed and
removed.
b) If breakage occurs while the lift is loaded, one of the two pro-
cedures explained below should be followed:
1) If breakage occurs on the driven column, loosen the safety
cable on the upper part of this column and lower it by hand
using the nut at the top of the spindle or the driven pulley.
Replace the broken or worn nut and check the spindle for
wear.
2) If breakage occurs on the driving column, loosen the end of
the tensor terminal, lower the column by hand using the dri-
ven pulley (the larger of the two) or the nut at the top of the
spindle. Replace the broken or worn nut and check the spin-
dle for wear.
1) In the event of excessive stretching of the chain, chain guides
Ref. 0698700 (only on models 4EB0200 and 4EB0300) loca-
ted on the base can be used to tension the chain, with three
different tension positions.
2) In the event of breakage, lower the lift manually by turning
both spindles simultaneously; the drive spindle is turned
using the pulley, and the driven spindle is turned with the
help of a spanner on the nut located on top of the spindle.
To reposition chain, see ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS section.
d) Replace the faulty cable.
e) Replace the faulty fuse.
Change belts.
