Product description

8
The numeric keypad is to be connected to the
9
control interface H85/DEC/BOX using a two-wire
0.5mm
cable; after entering one of the user codes
9
2
stored on the interface memory, it is then possible
9
to activate one of the four relays on the interface.
10
The keyboard has a 6 white LED backlight: normally
10
dimmed in stand-by mode, it lights up when the
11
keyboard is in operation.
11
The maximum number of keyboards that can be
11
connected to a single control interface is 4, thus
allowing activation from several remote locations.
12
Safety is ensured by a proprietary communication
12
protocol developed by Roger Technology that makes
use of dynamic data encryption, making it impossible
12
to decode the communication; the interface has an
13
auxiliary alarm relay, which is activated when it detects
13
an attempt to tamper with the system.
13
It is possible to store up to 500 user codes, each of
13
which can have a maximum of 6 digits.
13
The storage of codes and other operations are done
13
through the keyboard (without the need to access
41
the interface) protected by security password.
The password must be personalized during
installation, because all interfaces have the same
factory pre-set password (0000).
It is recommended to use a code that is up to 5 digits
for optimal system security as well as ease of use;
for the more demanding users who seek maximum
security there is a special mode, which is described
in section 6 ADVANCED FEATURES: MASKING OF
THE CODE.
It is also possible to connect the interface to the
H85/TTD ("touch") keyboards series, provided that
the total number of keyboards is not more than 4.
The numeric code keypad exists in three versions:
• H85/TDS/E: version for wall mounting.
• H85/TDS/C: version for pedestal mounting
• H85/TDS/I: built-in version.
Keyboard decoding interface:
• H85/DEC/BOX: version with IP54 external box
Spare part codes:
- H85/TDS: replacement keyboard, includes all the
components shown in Figure 1.
- H85/DEC: replacement of the interface, circuit
board (Figure 6, detail F).
